Student to Student Language Conferences
The Voice Chat application allows all the students in a class to have phone conversations one-to-one with another student which can be reviewed and individually assessed by the teacher afterwards. This enables the teacher to assess an entire class of students and review each students abilities individually.
When students dial in, they be connected to another student in a mini conference call. At the beginning of each conference each student is given separate but linked prompts. For example:
- Student 1 is told: "Imagine you are in Paris and want to go to the Eiffel Tower. Ask the hotel receptionist for directions."
- Student 2 is told: "Imagine you are working in a hotel and someone will ask you for directions"

When the audio is played back, one student is played in each ear. Teachers can also visually see who is speaking at any time, so they can give feedback to both students at the same time.
