Student to Teacher Language Conferences
Student to Teacher Conferences allows large scale Oral examinations to be delivered much more efficiently than current methods. Distance and location are no longer relevant as the students and teachers are brought together through this innovative application.
How it works
- The student dials into the Learnosity system
- The student enters their Student ID and PIN
- The student is placed in a queue to wait for a teacher to become available
- When a teacher is available the teacher is conferenced with next student in the queue
- Teacher and student converse and conversation is recorded
- Teacher or student press # to finish the conference.
Assessment & Marking
Teachers may mark the conversation in real time in the Administration Application or it can be done later by listening to the recorded conversation.
While listening to the recorded conversation, the person who is speaking will be highlighted to allow easier differentiation of the participants. This is particularly important if the person marking the conversation is not the teacher in the conversation.
Teachers then provide marks for each student and can also generate automatic reports for all their students and print them as pdf's or email them directly.
